I taught myself HTML, CSS, and plain JavaScript by building my girlfriend (now wife, Flo) a birthday present. It’s a Wordle clone, a new “Flordle” every day for a week, but the puzzles were rigged. Certain letters from each day’s word were hers to collect, and by the end of the week they unscrambled into “Sweeney Todd.” That was the real gift: tickets to the show.
